Head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization said: “The 57% growth in tourist attraction is a unique hit in this strategic industry. 5.2 million tourists arrived in the first eight months of this year, compared with 5.1 million last year. ”

According to Arya’s heritage news agency, Ali Asghar Monesan, vice president and head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, this evening, on Monday, December 31, 2018 in the opening ceremony of Qeshm National Tourism, Hotel and Crafts Exhibition, added: “Qeshm Island has a high capacity in the tourism area. ”

“The tourism industry is the third largest economy in the world,” he said.

“Iran is one of the top 10 countries in the world in terms of its natural resources, historical monuments and diverse rituals,” said Mounesan.

“In the current state of the country, the formation of a new and endogenous economy that is far from global turmoil and the effect of sanctions will create a transformation in the country’s economy,” he continued.

“The tourism industry is the best option because of the high potential of the country and the need for small capital, as well as an unbundling industry,” said Mounesan.

“The development of tourism infrastructure in the government of Tadbir and Omid, investment of 120 trillion Toman in the country’s tourism sector, the implementation of small and large projects, and actions such as the issuance of electronic visas, removing visa from target countries and … led to a 58% increase in tourism, in the first 8 months of this year compared to last year. “he said

The head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization said: “The southern regions of the country with beautiful beaches enjoy a  an unrivaled opportunity for tourists.”

He added: “The Gulf islands can, with the natural, historical, and customs of their ethnic groups,  redeem as much as a single country.”

“The island of Qeshm and its surrounding islands are growing in the tourism sector and are unique in terms of tourism capacity,” the vice president said.

“The attention of the managing director of the Qeshm Free Zone Organization to the tourism area of ​​the island is appreciated by the help of investors from local communities with the lowest facilities and the highest employment rates,” he said.

 

 

“The low-investment tourism industry, the high return on investment and high job creation, is remarkable industri, which can solve 50 percent of the problem of employment in the world,” Mounesan said.

He said that Qeshm, with the growing trend in tourism, has the ability to become a country’s tourism pilot, adding: “With the development of tourism infrastructure in Qeshm Island, the development of a calendar for events alongside the development of the advertising sector will lead to a great change  in this new industry in Qeshm. ”

“To supply the funds from the National Development Fund, there is full readiness to cooperate with the ongoing projects of Qeshm tourism and hotel services,” he said.

“There is also good and affordable resources available to expand craft and beach resorts on the island,” he added.

At the end of his speech, he said: “It is hoped that during the tenure of Hamidreza Momeni as the managing director of the Qeshm Free Zone Organization, we will see a boom in the tourism industry on the island and introduce Qeshm as an island with no workforce and pilot for tourism. . »
