The Cultural Tourism Village of Ganj-Nameh in Hamedan established a tourism sample area on the northern slopes of the Alvand mountains in 2000. The complex succeeded in obtaining the necessary permits from the Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization, Physical Education Organization and receiving full construction permits for the construction of about 18,000 m of covered area.
The complex, which has become one of the strongest tourism centers in Iran and the Middle East and has become a member of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), with a daily capacity of 5,000 people, is able to offer a variety of cultural, sporting, recreational and residential services to domestic anf foreign tourists.
Among other honors of this collection is the acquisition of a top-notch business project in 2012 and also appreciated by government officials.
The Ganjnameh tourist resort is located at the end of the Abbas Abad Valley, 5 km from the city of Hamedan, in the vicinity of the historic inscriptions and beautiful Ganj-Nameh waterfall.
